About

OldSharky2

Hello mutants. This is my most humble of blogs that’s been designed so that I may indulge my lifelong passion for horror movies. Yes, I love horror movies (cue *heavy breathing*). From Edison’s 1910 version of Frankenstein to whatever bloody awful hack-and-stack, dead-teens-in-the-woods epic is playing at the monsterplex this week, they all hold a certain fascination for me, an itch that I must scratch.

If you decide to hang around the blog cabin with Ol’ Sharky, I’ll try to reward your patience with reviews of horror movies that I’ve just seen on Netflix or elsewhere, perhaps the occasional articulate rant, and even recommendations of movies that I can personally vouch for that aren’t a complete waste of our precious time.

  2. Hey Ol’ Sharky!

My name is Matt Frame, director of ‘Camp Death III in 2D!’

    It’s a Canadian comedy/horror parody of ‘Friday the 13th Part III 3D.’

She’s hugely stupid but also extremely fun.

We start our festival run starts next month in Memphis, TN.

We’d be honored if you would consider taking 86 seconds to watch the trailer.

If you dig what you see & have a genuine interest to view the entire film then please let me know.

I’d be super happy to send you a password for our online screener.

But no time and/or no interest…no worries!

    Many thanks,
    Matt.

  3. Hey Horrific Flicks! My name is Jay Salahi — co-writer and director of the feature film Northwood Pie, due out in select theaters and VOD in early 2020 by Indie Rights Media.

My latest short film, “Ding… You’re Dead” a horror/comedy short inspired by the B-Horror/Sci-Fi films of the early ’80s where a negligent house sitter is unknowingly stalked by a malevolent flesh-eating microwave. It has been selected for 10 Film Festivals throughout October 2019. Being a giant fan of horror and a fan of your reviews and all Horror Lovers alike. I wanted to reach out and share this short with you as I feel its right up your alley!

Thank you so much for your time! Cheers!
